What started out as a simple job opportunity turned into a life-changing experience. Lisa joined the H2O Drying team in August 2017 and has been nothing less than impactful. She’s a fireball in the office, but let’s take a dive into who she is beyond the office manager.
Lisa Steger experienced what one would call a well-balanced life. She grew up in Central New York and recalled life being amazing with the absence of technology. Life with three brothers was amazing, as they spent every opportunity they could outside, running, playing and being active youths. She attended a suburban high school and spent her college years at SUNY Cortland College in New York. Although she adored life in the city, she found another home in North Carolina where she lives with her husband Kevin of twenty-five years and their three children Jeanette, David and Alexis.
Like most people, moving to another state was a challenge for Lisa, because of the change of pace and the environment, but she made it work. The time came for the dreaded job hunt to begin. Lisa got word of the H2O team and the co-owners and was impressed by what she heard and decided to apply. She became an integral team player and is quite knowledgeable about everything in the office. Lisa fits in with the team as she is hardworking, dependable and contributes to the unity and organization of the team.
Balancing her personal and professional life has been manageable. She honors her parents, who she thanks for her upbringing. Lisa also credits her success to her faith in God, whom she returns her gratitude to every Sunday morning at her church. She spends her time out of office with her family, hiking and swimming. Lisa is determined to have a positive outlook on life and always be encouraging to those around her. Lisa enjoys working with the H2O Drying team, but her personal goal is to retire early, be at peace, and enjoy her family.
